For the positions of English stenographers (Grade II) in the Industrial & Labour Courts and English stenographers (Grades II & III) in the Gujarat Subordinate Courts, the Gujarat High Court is accepting online applications from qualified applicants.
The Court has published notifications on the competitive examinations, skill tests, and interviews that will be used to fill up to 245 vacancies. The period for online applications is open from May 6, 2024, to May 26, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria for Gujarat HC Stenographer 2024
Each position, such as English stenographer Grade-II (Class II) and English stenographer Grade III (Class III), has a different educational requirement. The following are the required educational backgrounds:
- English Stenographer Grade II: Applicants must be graduates of an accredited university or institute in any discipline. Additionally, candidates should possess a working knowledge of computers and a speed accuracy of 120 w.p.m. in English Short Hand.
- English Stenographer Grade III: Applicants must be graduates of an accredited university or institute in any discipline, or have an equivalent degree. They know the fundamentals of computers and can type 100 words per minute accurately in English Short Hand.
- Candidates also need to meet these requirements and possess a sufficient command of Hindi, Gujarati, and English.
