KVS Admission 2024-25 Eligibility Criteria

  • Class 1: The child must be five years old by March 31, 2024, but not older than seven. Therefore, the baby’s due date should fall between April 1, 2017, and March 31, 2019.
  • Classes 2 through 8: These levels do not require an entrance exam. The minimum age increases by one year with each subsequent class. For example, a child registering for Class 2 must be at least six years old, but not more than eight, and so on.
  • Class 9: Students must have passed their eighth class and must take an entrance exam to get admitted.
  • Class 10: Students cannot be admitted directly to Class 10.
  • Class 11: Admission to Class 11 will be based on the results of the Class 10 board exams. There are other streams available, with prerequisites based on grades or CGPA, such as Science, Commerce, and Humanities.
  • Class 12: It is not always possible to accept direct applications. This restriction does not apply to KV students who are required to relocate owing to parental transfers.
