General Instructions and Center Preparation:
- The necessary level of cleanliness is maintained, and safety measures are put in place by following standard operating procedures.
- The seating area, including the monitor, keyboard, mouse, camera, desk, and chair, is sanitized before each paper begins. Every door handle, stair railing, elevator button, etc., is cleaned. If available, wheelchairs are cleaned and sanitized during the event.
- Candidates and test center employees might use hand sanitizers at the entrance and in several locations throughout the testing center.
- Barcode readers were available at the test center’s entrance to scan the barcode on the admit card. The candidate receives the Lab/Hall/Room number once the barcode has been scanned.
- Before the commencement of each paper, invigilators wearing gloves must place a doodle pad at each candidate’s desk to guarantee hygiene.
Pre-Exam Preparation
- To prevent congestion at the test center entrance during entry and preserve social distancing, candidates should adhere to the entry time sent via SMS the day before the exam.
- Applicants must wholly and correctly complete the COVID-19 Self Declaration (Undertaking) on the Admit Card by the instructions.
At the Time of Entry
- Besides carrying clear water bottles, candidates are highly encouraged to bring a bottle of sanitizer and to wear masks at all times.
- Examinees must permanently preserve their social distance. There are floor markers, ropes, and a queue manager outside the testing center. Candidates must adhere to the staff’s directions at the testing center.
- The lab, hall, and room numbers will not be posted outside the test center to prevent congestion at any location. Instead, the applicants are notified of this information when scanning the barcode on their admit card.
- Before entering the testing facility, candidates must sanitize their hands by washing them with soap and hand sanitizer.
Exam Day Guidelines:
- Candidates must arrive at their designated JEE Advanced 2024 exam centers ahead of time to prevent any last-minute rush.
- Candidates must carry their JEE Advanced Admit Card 2024 to the test place and a legitimate form of identification.
- At the JEE Advanced 2024 exam center, candidates may only bring pens, pencils, and clear water bottles for drinking. Nothing else, including a phone, calculator, rough paper, etc., may be brought to the center.
