The JNU 2024 admissions window is now open. Almost 20 schools and centers of study make up Jawaharlal Nehru University, which offers more than 100 courses in a variety of specializations. These courses are available at the UG, PG, and PhD levels in a variety of areas, including the arts, technology, management, science, and more. Furthermore, CUET-UG scores are used to determine JNU admission to the BA (Hons) in Foreign Languages, BSc-MSc Integrated Programme in Ayurveda Biology, and Certificate of Proficiency courses. CUET-PG and a few other national exams are accepted for postgraduate courses.
JNU Admission 2024 Eligibility
The primary requirement for admission to JNU’s postgraduate programs is a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university. The NTA administers the CUET PG exam, which is required for admission to all postgraduate programs with the exception of MBA and M.Sc. Biotechnology. The following table lists the prerequisites, standards for admission, and cost information for JNU Postgraduate courses:
- MA: A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% in any subject under the 10+2+3 educational pattern
- MCA: A minimum of 55% of marks must be earned in either the 10+2 or graduation levels for a BCA, Bachelor of Science in Computer Science Engineering, or similar degree.
- MBA: A bachelor’s degree with at least 50% in any subject (UR, OBC, EWS)
- M. Sc: B.Sc., B.Tech., or a similar degree with a minimum of 55% overall
- Masters of Public Health: Minimum 50% in a Masters degree in Social Sciences, Humanities, Management, Sciences, Technology, and Allied Subjects from a recognized University/Institution OR Minimum 55% in a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Sciences or a Professional Degree in Allied Fields from a recognized University/Institution
JNU 2024 Application Fee
Depending on the applicant’s category, there are different application fees for JNU Postgraduate Admission 2024. These are the specifics:
- Candidates in the General, EWS, and OBC categories must pay an application fee of INR 300.
- Applicants who fall under the SC, ST, or PwD categories will be required to pay INR 150.
- Students who are not citizens of India must pay an application fee of INR 3,320.
JNU 2024 Admit Card
The second week of May 2024 will see the publication of the JNU Admit Card 2024. The admission card will only be made available online by the authorities. It will include information such as the candidate’s name, time, address, roll number, exam date, reporting time, and further instructions on the day of the exam.
The candidates who have registered will not receive their admission cards via mail or any other offline mode from the authorities. It is recommended that candidates save a hard copy of their admit card for the day of the test.
JNU 2024 Exam Pattern
- Exam Mode: An online, computer-based exam will be administered.
- Duration: Exam solutions must be completed by candidates in two hours. Each paper will include a total of one hundred questions.
