- Go to irs.gov, the official IRS website, to use the “Get My Payment” function.
- Enter your credentials to access your current IRS account. If you don’t currently have an account, you might need to create one.
- Find your account’s dashboard or payment status area after logging in. When prompted, enter your tax ID and Social Security number (SSN).
- The status of your Direct Deposit Child Tax Credit payment, together with the date and mode of payment, will then be shown by the system.
