CENTAC Application Form 2024:
The application form for admission to UG general courses such as BA, BSc, BCom, and PG professional courses such as BTech, BSc Nursing, BA.LLB will be available on the CENTAC official web portal until May 22, 2024. All students are informed that the admission process will be completed based on a merit list prepared based on candidates’ performance in the 12th class exam. The Centralized Admission Committee of Puducherry has officially released the notification for admission into various UG general and professional courses for 2024-25, and hopefuls now have until May 22, 2024, to submit their application forms. Eligibility requirements for CENTAC Admissions 2024
The qualifying criteria for the various undergraduate general and professional courses, including educational requirements and age limits, are listed below.
Educational Qualification:
- For general UG courses such as B.C.A., B.B.A., B.Com., B.Sc. and B.A. through CENTAC, candidates need to have completed their upper secondary education (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board or institution.
- Professional UG degrees, such as BTech and BSc Nursing, need candidates to have finished 12th grade with required subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics) from a recognized board.
Age Limit:
- For UG general and professional courses, candidates are normally required to be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2024, with no higher age limit.
- Before applying for any undergraduate general or professional courses through the CENTAC for the academic year 2024-25, candidates must download and carefully review the notification booklet to ensure that the eligibility requirements specifications for each course are correct.
CENTAC Application Fees 2024:
To apply for UG professional courses through CENTAC, the application cost is ₹1000 for General and ₹500 for Reserved. The application cost for General courses (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, and BBA) is ₹300 for General and ₹150 for Reserved category applicants. Out of total places for various undergraduate professional and general courses, 11% are allocated for Other Backward Class, 16% for Scheduled Caste, 0.5% for Scheduled Tribes, 2% for Backward Class Muslim, 18% for Most Backward Class, and 2% for Very Backward Class. Aside from that, 4% is reserved for FF children, 5% for people with disabilities, and 1% for each ESM and MSP.
